What it is
Dividing land into several lots to sell or develop. The land is measured, the lots are laid out to the area you want, and the overall plan comes out with each lot numbered, its measurements and the access ways.
Timing and coverage
How long it takes depends on the size of the land, the access and the vegetation: an urban lot is not the same as a hillside farm. I tell you when you ask, along with the price, before you commit to anything. I work in El Salvador.
When you need it
- You are selling the land in lots instead of whole
- You are developing and need the overall plan
- It must be split into equal parts, each with access
- A procedure requires the subdivision plan
What you get
- The drawing in DWG and PDF, ready to print or to file
- The calculation record with the bearing, distance and coordinate table
- The area in square metres and in square varas
- The overall plan with all the lots numbered
- The area and measurements of each lot, in its table
- The technical description of each lot, if you will need it to register
What I need from you to start
- The deed of the whole plot
- How many lots you want, or what area each should be
- Whether roads or access ways already exist, or must be laid out
