The site

topoman.net is informational. The content is written carefully and corrected when an error is found, but it does not replace a specific consultation: what applies to your case depends on your case.

The texts, screenshots and design belong to Ronald Mancía. You may link to them and quote them; copying them as your own, no.

The software

TopoMan CAD and the TopoMan plugin for AutoCAD install and run without paying and with no expiry date. What the license unlocks is detailed on the licenses page, and that is what governs.

A permanent license is tied to one machine, identified by its hardware. If you change machines, write to me and it is reissued.

• The program is provided as it is, with the features the site describes and that you can verify before paying: that is what the full-program trial is for.
• Always check your work. A drawing you deliver is your professional responsibility, not the program.
• Reselling, redistributing or sharing the license file is not permitted.

The surveying work

Every job is agreed before starting: what is measured, what is delivered, in how long and for how much. What is agreed in writing governs over anything this page says.

• Measurement services are provided in El Salvador.
• Working requires access to the land, and whatever information each case calls for: deed, earlier drawing, names of adjoining owners.
• Timing depends on the land, the access and third parties (an office processing a filing does not depend on me) and is stated when the job is agreed.
• Work is delivered with the precision proper to the equipment and method used, which is stated in each case.

What I cannot guarantee

• That the site is available without interruption: it depends on providers I do not control.
• The outcome of a filing before a third party. I deliver correct technical work; what the institution decides is not in my hands.
• That a file opened in another program looks identical. What is measured, and stated on the TopoMan CAD page, is that what the program writes opens in AutoCAD without errors.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of El Salvador.

Changes

If they change, this page is updated with the date above. A change does not affect work already agreed or a license already sold.
